For hosted website data, OpenAI acts as a service provider under the applicable ChatGPT Sites terms and data processing arrangements.

ChatGPT Sites does not currently provide a data residency guarantee. Information may be processed or stored outside the United States.

Our website uses HTTPS to protect information transmitted between visitors and the website. Cloudflare documents encryption at rest for D1 databases using provider-managed encryption.

Although we take reasonable steps to protect personal information, no internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
